Winter 2015 with Wilson & Holly

My new video! Not quite what I'd imagined as we had no snow or frost! And my computer was misbehaving, but considering that I think it turned out OK.

My next project is probably Wilson's 3 Year video, and I'm really looking forward to that!

In case the link above ^ doesn't work: Winter 2015!

Merry Christmas!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Joyful New Year!

My little reindeer

Antlers

No one noticed the muddy paws ... did they?

He's had a trim, now you can see his lovely long legs properly!

And Holly has grass on her!

Tricks are Fun!

I'm working on a few different tricks with Holly & Wlson and am also working on their general obedience a bit, to improve :-)
Holly; Handstand, Footstall, Pivoting, Side Legs, Target Back Legs, Obedience & Leave
Wilson; Pivoting to Heel, Look, Happy Tricks, Footstall, Rebounds, Obedience, Recall , Kick Ball & Target Back Legs.

For Agility I'm focusing on:
Holly; Running Contacts, Obstacle Discrimination, Commitment, Listening and FUN!
Wilson; Toys, Happy Tricks, Focus, Speed, and FUN!

Wilson's not been quite as interested in toys lately, but he was playing fetch yesterday and he was tugging too so we're just going to do some more work with toys, especially outside :-) And some just playing, not all focused on Agility, and I'm going to use treats too :-)

Holly doesn't always listen and gets so focused on that ball, so that's what we need to work on :-)

Handstand ... almost!

Erm ... my treat?

New collars and Bandanna!

Holly & Wilson's collar's and bandanna came today! I got an "ordinary" (every-day) collar with a "Cheeky Monkey" design for Wilson, and Holly got a "Christmas Aztec" design Winter/Christmas collar (she already has a nice every-day one) and a Christmas (Candy Cane) Bandanna for Wilson!

Wilson in his collar, the cheeky monkey design suit his personality! (his fur is so long you can barely see it!)

Now you can see it! (One of our new tricks is "hold it" so anything I hold by his face he tries to hold!)

"Love my dog" ... So true!

All the collars come with a charm, this is the front of Wilson's (above photo of reverse)

Candy Cane Bandanna

Again, he want to chew it!

Pretty Girl (No one noticed it was upside down ... did they :-p )

Love this design!

Holly got a charm too, a stocking as her collar is Christmassy!

Christmas Photoshoot

So ... I've been planning this photo-shoot for ages! I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, a few of the first ones are a bit dark though .... I'm sure I'll get more before Christmas :-)

Winter Walk's

From this weather ...
...With nice long beach walks .....

To this ....
... most days coming back very wet!
Wilson enjoys his walks anyway, as does Holly (although she does prefer sunny walks!) :-) This morning after a long walk down the lane in the rain they played out side in the puddles :-) ... Hopefully we'll get some snow too :-)

Tunnel Fun!

Guess what arrived yesterday? Yes, our tunnels! We're now have a 3m Blue&Black anti-slip tunnel & a 4m Pink&Black non-slip tunnel!!!

I've only done 2 proper sessions with them with Wilson and he's picking them up great, once he got the idea he didn't even hesitate, he even went through it a few times with-out me asking! He's got lot's of speed so we're going to be working on curves (he can do some), entrances, exits, longer sequences, and a bit more speed :) He also goes on top if I ask :-p

Holly is also doing fab! Lot's of speed, but a few misses.... She can also now do some curves :-)

Apart from tunnels I'm working on more speed (although both of them are pretty quick), longer sequences, distractions & working for toys anywhere with Wilson! ... Oh and RC :-)

Pink 4m tunnel, curved here :-)

Blue 3m :-)

Holly on top, she's kinda blinking in the photo...

Holly inside, I'll have to get some of them running through it :-)
